Seth Consoer, MD 

EDUCATION

Dr. Consoer grew up in Mankato and attended the University of St Thomas where he graduated with a BS in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Minnesota Medic al School and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for being in the top of his class. He completed his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center and returned to the University of Minnesota for his ophthalmology residency.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

His wife Laura is an internal medicine doctor in Shakopee and they have a one year old daughter. Both enjoy biking, traveling and being on Minnesota lakes.
 

Emily (Anderson) Birkholz, MD 

EDUCATION

Dr. Birkholz a native of St. James, played basketball for the Mavericks of Minnesota State, Mankato from 1998-2002. After receiving her undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry, she attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, Twin Cities campus, where she received her Medical Doctorate, and then completed a one year internship at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She received her ophthalmology training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

She loves being a mother of four and spending time with her husband, Jake. Being a former athlete her interests are running, golf, and basketball.
